| Royal Jewellery Studio exhibits work from over sixty contemporary New Zealand jewellers. The artists’ individual work ranges widely in both style and material, from the precious through to challenges of the definition of preciousness itself. Opened in 1998 by jeweller Benjamin Flynn, Royal Jewellery Studio is located in the former Royal Theatre in Kingsland. Benjamin originally opened Royal after finding the need for a jewellery venue that was able to display the high caliber work that was being created within New Zealand but provided a relaxed and comfortable environment in which the public is able to enjoy the experience of viewing the work. |
